"Preparing Our Youth for Their Future"
Albert
Mensah
Motivational Speaker,
Leadership Coach & Trainer
Westminster, Maryland
In this keynote presentation, Albert Mensah shares
his personal story, leading audience members to the fundamental
truth: it's not what you do for children, but what you've taught
them to do for themselves. A successful educational counselor is
someone who inspires respect, trust, and confidence within the student
- not for the counselor, or anyone outside of the student, but for
themselves. This presentation will include ideas and content from
Albert's newest book, Wake Up! To Your Own Potential and the
Hidden Opportunities in Challenging Times.
Rising from his humble beginnings in Ghana, Africa, Albert Mensah
has become one of the world's leading motivational speaker, leadership
coach and trainer for employees at top companies throughout the
United States, Canada, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. With
an impressive client list that boasts, Starbucks, Merrill Lynch,
Boeing, John Deere Corporation, and Wells Fargo Bank, he has
built a strong reputation among business leaders and corporate executives
as the catalyst for driving employee morale, increasing work productivity,
and enhancing team commitment through his energizing, inspirational,
and often invigorating speaking engagements.
A natural-born leader and pioneer, Albert quickly elevated in the
highly saturated, competitive
speaking industry and grew a startup company from zero to $300,000
in annual revenues through creative marketing and extensive networking
strategies. True to his brand of excellence, he earned the prestigious,
"Certified Speaker Professional" award-a nominal feat
only given to the top 7% of international professional speakers-in
just four years instead of the standard five-year period. He placed
second in the Prestigious Toastmasters World Championship of Public
Speaking.
Prior to launching his speaking business, Albert held a successful
career in sales with some of
key industry players in the telecommunications industry. Starting
in sales representative positions, he rapidly advanced to a top
contributor status by repeatedly exceeding annual revenue and quarterly
sales quotas. He relied heavily on innovative marketing techniques,
deep business acumen, and strategic relationships to consistently
gain new clients and expand market share for the US West, Pacific
Bell, and Donnelly Directories.
In 1993, intrigued by the US World Cup Soccer series held in the
United States, Albert jumped
at the opportunity to open a retail sporting gear store despite
having no industry experience. Starting with a modest investment
of a little more than $5,000, he steadily grew the retail store
into a profitable, six-figure revenue operations securing contracts
with the local high schools and sporting teams. The retail store
generated double-digit revenue growth every year and was later sold
at a profit to a new owner.
An avid learner, Albert has a bachelor's degree in English from
Western Maryland College and
has taken numerous training and advanced coursework at various institutions
including University of Washington Extension School of Training
& Development and the Dale Carnegie School of Public Speaking.

"Think Small Using the New 90/10 Rule"
Lee
Silber
Professional Speaker & Best-Selling Author
Mission Beach, California
Lee's philosophy is simple-present a message that
attendees need to hear and deliver it in the most powerful and personable
way possible for maximum impact-and he's done this over 1,000 times.
People aren't just busy, they're beyond busy-how to handle
it all without the stress because when you take care of the little
things, the big things take care of themselves. It is important
to focus on small changes that make a big impact right away, for
example "Using The 90/10 Rule," it's possible to do more
with less and focus on what matters most.
The Seinfeld gang had a successful run on NBC of nine years, and
was a Top Ten program from 1994 to 1998. Pretty good for a show
about "nothing". How does this relate to Lee Silber? Good
question. Lee began his speaking career in 1991 and signed with
SkillPath Seminars in 1995. In his five year run with the seminar
company Silber was a consistent ratings winner. Also, from 2000
to 2010 Lee has scored "Excellent" in each and every program
he has given-over 450 in that time span.
Lee is a former surf shop owner turned best-selling author with
15 books to his credit including "The Wild Idea Club"
and "Rock To Riches". In 2011, he will have four new
titles hitting bookstores including: "Think Small", "Fumble!",
and "No Time To Think", and "Sunshine"--covering
everything from work/life balance and customer service to ideation
and a book based on extraordinary life of Sunshine Blake. He is
also the founder of Deep Impact Training, a company that takes speeches,
breakouts, and workshops and turns them upside down to make sure
the lessons last a lifetime. Silber has appeared on CNN, NBC, The
Dr. Laura Show, and has been featured in USA Today and The New York
Daily Times. In his personal life, Lee walks his talk. He lost 70
pounds in seven months in 2010, and lives a very balanced life in
Mission Beach, California with his wife and two young sons. It should
be noted that Lee Silber is also a big Brewers and Packers fan.
An educator said it best, "Lee's presentation was more than
I could have ever imagined. He stood and delivered a message
so powerful I am certain it changed lives. Every single evaluation
and comment regarding the program was positive. In the 18 years
I have been on the Professional Growth Committee, I have never,
ever received such an overwhelmingly positive feedback for a speaker."
