Middle School life can be exciting and challenging time for some
students. This is a developmental period where students are
exploring their self-identity, discovering interests, and maturing
into adolescence. The middle school years are growing years.
It is a rewarding experience to be able to see the growth of students
as they mature from a young child into a young adolescent.
Middle School Counselors help students achieve in their education by enhancing the learning process and promoting academic achievement. Through a comprehensive counseling program counselors provide services that address emotional, social, personal and career planning.
Roles of a Middle School Counselor include:
